I lack the Public Address chops to be a real rhetorical critic of political things, so you won't see much about the election here.
But, I find this video fascinating: the RNC bio video:
It's not just a mash of superimposed images. Its notable because the transition device often is a single image of Palin, around which the background or context changes.
This reminds me too much of the way that Republicans presume that the preferred way-of-being is to be staid, solid, unitary, whole, despite any change in conditions. Liberals are wishy-washy, flip-floppers; Conservatives have a core, we are told.
This video is a representation of that, I think.
